How to choose a DMA card
FPGA size, form factor, slot clearance and USB path — pick hardware that matches the firmware and game you actually bought.

1Start from the game, not the board
The card is only useful if firmware exists for that exact board and the anti-cheat on your title. This store builds firmware for 75T, 100T, M.2 and ZDMA hardware. Confirm the live firmware product and Status row before you spend on a board that looks similar in a photo.
What 35T, 75T and 100T mean
Those numbers are FPGA size classes, not magic stealth ratings. A larger FPGA can hold a more complex firmware image and often has more headroom for higher read rates. It does not make a setup undetectable. A 35T board is common on older or budget cards; Lethal firmware support is published for 75T, 100T, M.2 and ZDMA. If you already own a 35T, ask support whether that exact model is accepted before you order firmware.
2Form factor and the slot
Full-height PCIe cards need a free slot and physical clearance beside the GPU and other cards. M.2 DMA boards use an M.2 slot instead. Either way, power the machine down, ground yourself, and seat the card fully. A card that is not fully in the slot will fail in ways that look like a driver problem.

- 2Pick a slot the card physically fits — do not force a full-height card into a blocked bay

USB-C ports on the card
Most modern DMA cards have two USB-C ports. One is the update or JTAG port used to flash firmware. The other is the data port used after the flash, when the second PC reads memory. They are not interchangeable. If the ports are unlabelled, the data port is usually the one farther from the PCIe fingers — but follow the card maker's marking when it exists.
3Cable and port on the second PC
Use a USB 3 cable and a rear motherboard USB 3 port on a desktop second PC. Front-panel headers, unpowered hubs and cheap charge-only cables are the usual reason a card never appears in Device Manager. A laptop second PC works if it has a real USB 3 port and a stable cable. Do not start diagnostics through a dock.
Motherboard notes, kept generic
You need a free slot, a BIOS that enumerates the device, and enough physical space. Some boards expose PCIe generation or slot bifurcation settings. Do not copy a random BIOS checklist from an old forum post — Secure Boot, virtualization and IOMMU changes are product-specific and can break the game or Windows. Use the instructions attached to your firmware order.
4Match firmware before you pay twice
Firmware is built for a named board and a DNA ID. A '75T' label on a listing is not enough if the PCB, USB bridge or flash chip differs. Photograph the board, note any silkscreen model, and send that with the order ID if you are unsure. Flashing an image meant for a different card can brick the FPGA.
What to send support
Card model and photo, slot type, motherboard model, both Windows versions, and the game you want to run. If you already have an order, put the order ID first. Do not ask for a board recommendation with only a game name.
