Clean Windows before a spoofer
When a fresh Windows install is worth the time, how to do it from official media, and what to keep off the disk.

1Why people reinstall
A hardware-ID spoofer is only as clean as the system it runs on. Leftover tools, half-removed anti-cheat clients, old spoofers and random 'tweaks' leave traces that a new identity will not magically erase. After a hardware ban, or after a failed first run, a clean install is the honest reset. It is not a guarantee. It is hygiene.
2When it is worth doing
Do a clean install in these cases. Skip it if the official product guide does not ask for one and the machine is already a plain Windows install you trust.

- 3After a failed spoof where leftover software is the likely cause
- 4When support asks for a clean Windows state on that order
Use official media
Download Windows 10 or 11 from Microsoft and build the USB with Microsoft's own media tool. Do not use a random 'gaming ISO', a pre-debloated image from a forum, or a friend's modified stick. Those images are an unknown. The product pages list supported 64-bit consumer builds; Insider or 32-bit installs are out until Status says otherwise.
3Back up first
A clean install wipes the system disk. Move personal files off the machine. Note any Windows licence you need to reactivate. Unplug extra drives if you want to be sure the installer cannot format the wrong disk.
Install, then stay boring
Install Windows, run Windows Update, install the chipset and GPU drivers from the board and GPU vendors. Install only what the product instructions name next — Visual C++ redistributables, the issued spoofer, the game. Do not stack three cleaners, a VPN trial and a 'Windows debloater' on the same afternoon.
4Then follow the product, not a ritual
Check Status. Open the key on Downloads. Run the issued build as Administrator and complete its restart sequence. Do not change Secure Boot, TPM or virtualization because a generic post said so. If this order's guide requires a specific Windows state, that guide wins.
5What to send support
Windows edition and winver string, whether this was a clean install, which disk you installed to, the Status state, the full error, and the order ID. 'I formatted' without winver is not enough.
