Fusers, capture cards, EDID and radar on a second screen: how you actually see the overlay.
The overlay runs on the second PC, so you need a way to see it. There are four routes to choose from: a second monitor, a fuser, a capture card, or a radar in a browser. They differ in cost, in complexity and in what breaks, so pick one before you buy hardware for another.

The three options are a second monitor on the second PC, a fuser that mixes both PCs' video, and a capture card. The second monitor is the cheapest and easiest to wire, but only a fuser puts the overlay on your main screen.
Dichen and GODLIKE, the two fuser families in this market, both sell boxes with two HDMI inputs and an HDMI or DisplayPort output. Generation labels vary by seller, so buy on the exact model's resolution and refresh ceiling and have the seller confirm it.
EDID is the block a display sends upstream listing its identity, supported timings and preferred mode. A fuser stands where the monitor used to, so it must present a valid EDID to each PC. A black screen or a capped refresh rate usually means that block is missing, generic or wrong.
Plug the game PC into the fuser's host input, the second PC into the secondary input and the monitor into the output, then add power. The rule people break is keeping a direct cable from the game PC to the monitor. It must come out, or the game PC drives two displays and you see the wrong one.
A capture card feeds the game PC's HDMI output into the second PC, which draws the radar or ESP over that feed. It is the cheapest way to see game and overlay together, but you watch a delayed, usually downscaled copy of your screen.
A web radar is an HTTP and WebSocket server on the second PC, open to any browser on your network. It needs no fuser or capture card, just the PC's LAN address, a firewall rule for the port and a device on that network.
